- The implant post is first inserted into the jawbone through a small incision created in the gum tissue above the placement site.

- Once the post has had proper time to bond with the surrounding bone tissue, we place the abutment. This is a connecting piece that holds the post and crown together.
- Finally, the custom-made crown is cemented into position onto the abutment. This connected all pieces together to form an entire tooth structure.

While being very similar to a traditional bridge, the difference with this appliance is that it is secured using implants rather than natural teeth.
